My Training:: All the basic one to three day certs. But the ones that I worked hard for and are the most proud of are Firefighter 1 and High Angle Rescue.

About Me:: I'm a fourth generation firefighter and Asst. Chief of OUR department. Next to my wife and kids Firefighting IS the most important aspect in my life. I believe Firefighters are one of the biggest role models in or society today and believe we should always represent the badge with courage,commitment and professionalism.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: The main reason was my grandfather he was a FF and when I was a teenager he had a huge influence in my life and the other reason is the lights,sirens DUH.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: At the end of the day you can look back and know you have done something great with your life by helping others.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Training!! Knowledge!! Staying at the top of the game is tough, keeping up with and learning new techniques and equipment to make our job safer and more productive.
