My name is Dave. I have been a firefighter for 19 years. I also work as a Switchman/Conductor for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis. I have been employed there for 8 years. I am married with 2 boys and 2 girls. Ranging in age from 18 to 6 years old.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I originally went to college after High School to become a police officer. When I was about to graduate, I was invited to join our Fire Department at the age of 19. I joined and fell in love with it. I then crossed over to the good side (LOL) and have not looked back.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It always brings a good feeling when you help someone. I also love the friendships and the feeling of fellowship of the fire service.
