Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I grew up in the fire service. My father was a 30 year member of my Fire Department. And I grew up wanting to be like my Dad.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Exciting , non-routine nature of the job.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Apathy by the public, politicians, and even our own members.
Financial difficulties in communities leading to layoffs and firehouse closings, reduced manning on apparatus.
