Rising cost of living, advancements in technology...not always for the good. Apparatus size and complexity. Light weight construction,the building industry constantly fighting against us on the residential sprinkler issue, To many manufacturers on the N.F.P.A. looking at their bottom line rather than whats realy best for the firefighter
