Served for 22+ years so far. (Don't want to ever stop.) Been a Lieutenant for 16 of those years. (Love being right there with the action.) Awarded the LFD's Medal of Valor in 2007. My crew (3-C) has earned two Unit Citations for actions at a fire and at a domestic assault. (Stabbing) Try to remember to thank God everyday for making me a firefighter.
