its always been a dream of mine since i was a boy. My father is a retired career firefighter, of 25 years. i now know why he loved his job as much as he did.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
just enjoy being able to help people during their darkest moments.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
For me it has to be that i don't know what the laws are conserning volunteer firefighters, and their place of employment. For example i live here in Independence, and my distict is about 5 miles from where i live, and work. Am i able to respond to my district without any diciplineary actions from my place of employment? and what happens if i end up being late to work because of a call i might have been running, what happens if i get diciplined from my place of employment?
