John, waterball is another word for firemen fun!! two teams with hoses trying to push a "ball" past the other team when the ball is suspended above the teams on a wire/trolley system. here is link to one of our past meets. http://www.hutsonvillefire.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=7309537 The only bad think is one of the neighboring departments had subject get hit in the eye with stream and injured. He did not have his face shield down. Now some departments will not let there personal take part in waterball games. Waterball used to be a big event in this area with fire department having traveling teams. we even had kids events where the hoses had alot less pressure.

Hi my name is Sarina (Jenn) and we are needing water ball construction plans mostly the ball part we would purchase but can not find where to I do not know if the source you provide has that info But anything would be great Thanks

Up here we use an empty keg for our "water battles". Some places use a ball though!

We've always used an empty beer keg. That may be how the tradition began. The ball looks even more difficult to control, though, which equals more fun!
