A friend of mine in North Carolina sent me this. Can anyone shed some light on this???

Ok guys, need some help here, my local fire department that I work for is made up of a board of trustees. The Old administration took it upon
themselves to just do fire inspections for the schools, twice a
year…both my brother and I are certified fire safety inspectors. Need
some examples by next Thursday on why they need to let us inspect the
whole town, including the schools (at 4 times a year like it SHOULD be
done by ofc). This board really has a couple people on it that will not
budge. Any suggestions? Cases on where people have been sued for no
inspection? I have a couple ideas, any input would be very much
appreciated.
