About Me:
I am a huge advocate for EMS on the local, state and national level. I am one of the founders and past Secretary of the National EMS Museum Foundation, and sit on other various EMS boards and committees. I am a member of NAEMT and serve on the bylaws and Advocacy committee. I am also an EMS educator, all levels and AHA Regional Faculty. I am fortunate to get to travel around the country several times a year speaking at state conferences on EMS topics, particularly pediatrics for EMS and am currently co-authoring an EMT textbook.
OH..I'm also a grandma of two great little boys who have both undergone heart surgeries during this first year of their lives...they are doing great!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I was a mom of 4 kids in a small community that was losing it's ambulance squad unless they could get more members.
