Citizens Emergency Crew, Gladys, VA...where it all began...1998 thru 2007. While with Citizens I was a Seargant and a Lieutenant. I also ran a short time with Lynchburg Life Saving Crew, aka. Rescue 9, while I was in college.

About Me:
the basics...I have been in EMS for almost 10 years and after many years as an EMT-B recently went to EMT-Enhanced (VA only) then recently completed a bridge to NREMT-Intermediate...I also just recently became certified through VA Dept of Fire Programs as Firefighter 1...so I am kinda new to the fire service, not running with a fire dept as of yet...that's just about all for me, in a nutshell. I have plenty of time and spend alot of it at my volunteer station, at least until I find someone to share some of it with...

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Grew up in a small community where my parents and grandparents were actively involved as part of the volunteer rescue squad...since I was around it so much, I guess you can say I grew into the role!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Pride and Gratification in Service to others in their time of need!
