About Me:
Shifted from Fire Service to Emergency Management in 1999 following Hurricane Floyd. At that time, I was appointed by the Bahamian Prime Minister to be the Incident Commander for the multi national response effort for the Cat 5 Strike of Floyd. Since then, I have served as a Strike Team Leader, Donations Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Task Force Leader in a variety of large scale disaster repsonses. I was recently credentialed as a Florida Professional Emergency Manager and have introduced a large Task Force concept to FEMA which now has been published in a NIMS Alert for consideration as a new concept to disaster response.
