Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I always admired Firemen, Police, EMS. In the past couple of years I decided that I wasn't born to make big bucks and be some big shot doing things for myself, but to help others in any means possible. And Firefighting was the career I decided to choose.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Knowing that I'm there helping people and I'm not just a bystander..I hate the feeling of not being able to help out.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
From reading the news on the internet...Safety precautions. Our job is dangerous and we have to protect ourselves in order to protect others. Wear your PPE and don't get caught up in your ego or what you think is a shortcut to getting things done right!
