About Me:
Started with the Cortlandville Fire Department as a Jr. Firefighter at the age of 14, I then joined as a full fledged member at the age of 18 in 2000. I attended Onondaga Community College, where i studied fire science. While there i was a bunk-in member of North Syracuse and Liverpool Fire Departments. I returned to Cortlandville after college, and became Lt. of the Rescue squad. I served in that position for 2 years before becoming a fire line capt. I have held that position for the last 3 years.

lack of manpower in the vol. depts and lack of funding in some of the paid depts to put on full staffing
