About Me:

I started out riding along with Saraland Fire in January of 2005. I had taken the CPAT in december of 04, and was just waiting for a call from any dept. I was doing the ride-alongs to get my foot in the door. I was hired by Prichard Fire Rescue in August of 05. I went through Rookie school at the fire college in Tuscaloosa from Sept. 05-Nov. 05. I transferred to Saraland Fire Rescue from PFD in April of 07.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I grew up around law enforcement thanks to my parents and uncles and such. I was always doing ride-a-longs in the police cars with my dad. I saw firefighters in action one time when I was 5, and I have been hooked ever since. I love helping people, and I love the atmosphere of the firestation.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love it all. The tops on the list is seeing a kids face when doing tours of the station and showing him/her the trucks.
