Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I have always had a large desire to help others. My ex husband was a firefighter when we met. he got me involved in volunteering and when I got into my first structural burn, I was hooked. It was love at first sight. I have been addicited to it ever since. All 3 of our children were raised in the fire dept. My 10 year old knows possibly more than most rookies.
