Why I Joined Fire/EMS
This is something I wanted to do my whole life. At age 28 after doing what every one told me I should do, I applied and was hired by the Irving Fire Department. I found what I was meant to do
Thanks JR. Sounds like some good sound advise, and I guess things that I already know but then to forget sometimes. It good to have it reinstated back to me. I know Paul and I am a member of the Tenn. Federation of Fire Chaplains. Again, I forget about the support that I could receive from that. I just get frustrated sometimes not knowing when to respond and find out situations where I should have been called and was not. But it will all work out. I know that Jesus faced larger obstacles than that! Thanks again, Ted..............
Greetings from Bakersfield. CA. I serve as Chaplain for the city of Bakersfield Fire Department and the Kern County Fire Department as well as serving in leadership of both CISM teams.
