At this point, just pay attention to ur instructors/training officers, take advantage of every training opportunity that comes along, but don't over extend yourself- remember u have other responsibilities to balance & u don't wanna be burned out b4 you're certified. Be safe & have fun!
our fire company here in pennsylvania get a lot of calls for mva's (interstate 84 is in our coverage area) so we do a lot of heavy rescue training with hydaulic tools and such. we dont have many structural fires but we still train using hoselines and searches and rescues. some of our juniors also get involved in ems work
Sorry I haven't contacted you in a while. Did you get any part of all the flooding? We're in a hot,dry spell here. Altho there is a slight chance of rain, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Best of luck, stay safe!
