- Hey everybody my name is James or Jimmy Or Cookie or "Shrek"....i work as a firefighter / EMT in Vernon Texas...i graduated high school in my home town of Hereford Texas and graduated from Amarillo College Fire academy 18 in 2006...i was a dorm student at Randall Coutny Fire / Rescue for about 3 years and then worked for Hereford and Friona EMS for about 2 years...i live with my two dogs "Molly" and "Cooder"...anything else just ask me sometime...later folks!!

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- i love it...my dad has been a paramedic since 1979 and my grandfather was a fireman for well into 50 years including alot of Texas A&M teaching...and my mom is a nurse...i think i chose Firefighting because i knew EMS because of my dad but didnt know much about fire...and once i got started there aint no goin back!!...i love this!...Greastest gig ever
