I'm a 26 year old male who just moved to North Carolina to work for a county EMS agency. I've been a Paramedic for about 4 years and LOVE my job. I have been in the fire service in Ohio for about 5 years. I'm going to work on taking my FFI and FFII in North Carolina here real soon, so if anyone has any tips for me let me know. Top Issues Facing Responders:

Safety issues from lack of training and people thinking they know more then they do. People thinking that fire can't hurt them. Trying too hard to be a "hero". and the ignorance of the general public.
