Why I Joined Fire/EMS: i felt like i was just sitting back not doing anything when i could have been doing something and someone suggested that i join so i gave it a shot and i stuck with it and i couldnt imagine doing anything else with my spare time
Why I Love Fire/EMS: being ableto help people and knowing i did something great after a call
Top Issues Facing Responders:: lack of new recruits in the volunteer departments, some states cutting state funding for those departments especially those that are in areas that are unicorporated
