Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I had been taking classes in law enforcement, when i thought that it would be helpful to have EMS knowledge. I joined my local volunteer department and decided i would rather become a firefighter/emt.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: THE BROTHERHOOD
Top Issues Facing Responders:: the lack of volunteers willing to give their time. In my volunteer department we have about 5 to 10 of our rostered 25 make all the runs. I think that within the near future there will be no more volunteer departments due to this reason
