About Me:
I am a 15 year veteran of the Platteville Fire Dept Inc. I have been a firefighter, jaws team member, ropes team member and currently an a driver/engineer on the department.

I am also an assistant chief on the Southwest Wisconsin Regional Technical Rescue Team where we specialize in Technical Rescue including: Ropes, Confined Space, Trench, Swift Water, Ice, and Collapse. That team is based out of Lancaster Wisconsin and covers Grant, Crawford and Richland Counties. We are hoping to expand that to cover Lafayette and Iowa Counties as well.

I am also a Certified Fire Instructor I in Wisconsin and work for the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College teaching fire science and rescue as an adjunct instructor.
Day Job:
Full time Computer Support for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was a firefighter and fire instructor and one of the first in the state of Wisconsin. When you grow up around it, it becomes a part of your life. It's in my blood and I love doing the job.
