Married with two grown children (the best wife and kids), like to work and enjoy what I do. Interests at FD other than operating a shift every third day as a Shift Commander include apparatus specification, equipment specification and purchasing and coming up with ideas for departmental improvment.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Just fell into it - but love it - borrowing a phrase I've heard more than once from Chief John Leahy (Ret. Pittsburg) - "I won the lottery" - his reference to being hired into the fire service
