Hi!,Leanne.Hope all is well at Hartville!Yes,it really is nice to be able to get in touch with fellow firefighters around the globe. It's also an advantage to smaller nations like Fiji to listen and see how advanced nations do their operations...and absorb as much as possible to help in improving our service in Fiji.
Apart from attending to property fires, our brigade also do rescue services,as we have a rescue and ladder unit but EMS is operated by a separate department[St Johns Brigade].Talks are still going on about it's introduction to us,it's kinda in the pipeline...I'm hoping it's not a very long pipeline! It will then be complete with EMS in,don't you think?
Anyway, how was operations in the weekend in
    Hartville?Be safe out there!

Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.

Enjoy, be safe and remember we all come home.
