My Training:
FFI, First Responder, CPR Instructor, EMD, Safety Team, Incident Command
About Me:
I have dispatched with a large sheriff's office and police departments in one communication center. I am currently dispatching with an agency that dispatches both fire and ambulance service for two counties. I am a volunteer firefighter which I love. It is hard to sit and dispatch a fire call, when I want to be in the middle of the action on the other side of the radio. But I do take my job very serious and make sure to take care of my brothers and sisters on the other side of that radio.
Relationship Status:
Single
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I got into emergency services because I wanted to give back to my community and help people. I have always loved giving to others and helping others and this was the ultimate way in giving back.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Being able to help others and use the skills I have learned.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Is unified communication within all departments. I think it is important that departments need to learn how to write grants to get the needed governmental money that is out there to improve our departments.
