About Me:
I love the outdoors. I do my hair and makeup to get greasy and dirty and I love it!! I own an agriculture ranch with my dad of 80 acres. I love working on machines, and anything that means it'll take 2 showers to get clean. I have no problem hiking and camping for long times with no running facilities or showers close by. That's just how I am, and I love it!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I got in some trouble when younger, and put on a hand crew. This experience changed my life and I fell in love.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love the rush, and being outside, and knowing I'm doing what I'm doing to help people.
i got in trouble as a juvi for multiple violations of probation so they sent me to a juvi lockup. i got on the fire crew there. cal fire is the head of inmate handcrews, even the juvi ones. in fact their handcrews are reserved for inmates if i remember correctly. handcrews cut line. we are primarily wildland. its sorta like usfs and blm hotshots. they are a handcrew, but like the best at wut they do. they do both indirect and direct line, where the calfire handcrews are mostly indirect and mop-up. right now i have my apps in for any position w/ both usfs and cal-fire, but i help when i can where i can w/ usfs. im trying for the apprenticship usfs has also, helps me get in to a full time permanent possition quicker. plus a chance on the copters. i love cutting line, but i want to try it all to figure out my favorite nitch in the job where i can be of the most use. im getting my fire tech degree right now, and my emt soon. i prefer wildland right now, something about the unknown when working w/ and against mother nature while fighting fire....its awwing.. maybe oneday i'll try my hand w/ structure, i can get in to volunteer w/ the city whenever i want, i've already been offered the possibility....i just am not ready yet...its funny id rather go against nature who is always unpredictable, then go in a building that more info is known on...nature of the beast i suppose. so where's ur nitch in the world? i saw u wearing bunker gear...any carreer aspirations?
