Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the local fire dept. mainly to help others in the community. I also joined because my grandfather was on the same dept for 20 years before retiring and simply the fact that it was a childhood dream.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I enjoy helping people in the community.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I believe a huge issue facing responders is the increased amount of training the state is requiring to be a volunteer and finding the time to complete it all with a day job.

    they are the mini phantoms... i don't have them any more..instead i have 2 slimlighters in there place, 6 strobe lights in the lights(2 in head lights, 2 in fog lights and 2 in the brake lights) plus 2 mini phantoms in the grille

    I'm down on Bluffton on the A days. Feel free to stop in. I don't think TRAA has a staging post that close but, WTF. Ya gotta pee sometime and we can have ambulance familiarization. My crew are 1st responders. They need to see the back more often and get familiar with what's in there.
