I am 35 years old, and have been married for a 12 years to my wonderful wife Kellie and have a two beautiful daughters (9 and 6) Hobbies: firefighting, model railroading, maintaining the fire departmernt's website (www.bigstonegapfiredept.com) I have been a firefighter 15 years now and enjoy everything the fire service has to offer from training to the true emergencies.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I wanted to help my community and do something that could make a difference in someone elses life, and also I wanted that something to be exciting and fun. I found out firefighting is all those things grouped into one. It is hard work but it never seems to be work when you are out there doing something you love to do!

its the greatest feeling in the world to help someone when they are having the worst day anyone could have.
