    Angus, your was an interesting question. Even though it didn't attract much interest on the forum!

    A couple of years ago I was involved with a Brigade in R14, there was a local who was constantly agitating for all Vols to be issued with the Order of Australia - he said that we really deserved it!

    I think my military background showed with my response - a type of 'Active Service' medal from the National Govt. would be something I would be proud to wear. But that's probably just me and other ex-Servicemen!
