Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I grew up next to a fire station and thought it would be fun to ride tailboard; I was right. It was fun, but it sucked badly in the rain. Those days are done, and for those of you who never had the chance to ride on a tailboard, I am sorry. I started my career at that same station and did 9 yrs there before moving to Tucson, AZ.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Every day is different. I love the excitment and the work schedule does not hurt either.

  Hello there! As a matter of fact, I do know many of the Camas guys! They do all of our transport and ALS. Capt. Payne is an incredible guy. I have so much respect for him. He has taught several classes to the neighboring FDs. He is a fantastic firefighter and all around great guy. So you are coming back to Oregon to retire? Oregon is a beautiful state. Which part are you looking at? I see that you are in Dive Rescue. I am really interested in that. Any chance you could give me some info? Well anyway, thanks for the comment. Keep in touch.
