- I was with the Burke Vol. Fire Dept. for 20 years as a junior member then as a firefighter since i was 18.

- I have taken whatever I could whenever I could from the old fire fighting essentials to the intermediate fire fighter,and advance fire fighter. I have taken the nims 100, 200, 700, and 800. I have taken oficers courses and Hazmat courses.

- I am recently divorced with no kids. I like lifting weights keeping in shape by playing softball, soccer, and jogging. I love being around the fire dept. and ems and most of the people I hang around with do the same things.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I joined when I was 12, My dad was the chief of a volunteer fire dept. and I was around it all my life. I became more interested in it as time went on I moved up the ranks and was even chief for 3 years in my home town . I moved and noe in another town Vol. dept. were i live now.
- Why I Love Fire/EMS
- because It giives me a chance to help the community and my friends.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Why is NY state demanding that Volunteers have to go to classes that last so long some people cant take that much time away from family and jobs. I just think that they should make it easier to be a volunteer.
