I became an instructor for American Red Cross through the Polk County Branch and from there went into becoming a certified First Responder. I am heavily involved with all the local fire departments as well as throughout East Texas District. I am involved with the South East Texas Stress Unit through Fire Fighter Ministries.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It started out because I married a Firefighter and seeing the passion he had for helping others when they were hurt, sick, etc gave me a spark that I have nurtured into a blaze. Throughout my life I have always wanted to help others but didn't know how. Now I have the knowledge and the support of my family to help those in need.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
helping others in need, no matter what.

    If you have any more info on the PHI helicopter crash I would like to know more about it. I have been on PHI choppers before and my brother and daddy is with them now.
