I became the head of a small EMS department on a Local River boat Casino resort before becoming a contract Medic for the Carol Stream Fire Department. Finally I went full time with the South Elgin Fire Dept. and have become a Hazmat tech with training in Bio/Chemical Weapons. I am 1 of the deaprments 2 EMS Lead instructors. I work on the department safety committee, Training, Hazmat Team, and other areas.
My Grandfather was a volunteer in his younger days and I liked his stories. I also enjoy helping others. My Father also instilled a sense of Pride, Honor and Duty in me to help others.
