Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Why did I Joined the Fire Service becues I love it and I wanted to be it since I was a little child and that was my main goal in life. Fire fighting is in my blood. I'm a 1st generation ff on my fathers side and a 1st generation ff on my moms side. Both my grandfathers was members with the city of Poughkeepsie fd my grandfather Cliff was the citys first macanic for the fire department. I enjoyed hanging out in the fire house with both of my grandfathers and father.
