Our department is all volunteer and what little I have been able to do on my own has been very frustrating.Work gives me a hassle for having to leave early, for both my first responders and fire 1 and 2 class.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I became part of the services because a friend said I should come to a meeting some time they were lacking in volunteers,I went. 2 weekends later they had a burn excercise,I was all over it.Even got a good first hand look at a back-draft scenario.In a strange way it was beautiful and ever since I've been hooked!
