Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Lost a family member when I was a little kid. I can remember how relieved I felt when I heard the sirens getting louder as they got closer. Whenever I get on the truck I remember what it feels like to know help is coming - now I get to be the help.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

I think it's retention of trained and valuable members in the volunteer ranks. Getting training to be a priority among all members.
