Here's a picture of my fubar tool you asked for. This is the smallest version they have of it, it's about 14"-15" inches long, I carry it on my bunker pants utility strap. Like I said in the discussion thread concerning this tool, it doesn't replace any specific firefighting tool, but it sure can come in handy. I've used it to punch holes in walls to check for extension, pry boards and molding and to break windows.
Being at Hopwood is great there are a lot of good guys there and we got alot of good equipment we work hard for what we got and work even harder to improve everything. We do run a pretty tough ship like you guys and I am glad we do..... I know alot of good guys from the township and have learned alot from them.
Last day to get application in for the Jan class. It is all on line

Hey John, Sorry its been awhile since ive been on the page, hope you had a good birthday out on the town! Not much going on answering a few calls. Had a fund raiser for one of our brother fireman who is dying of cancer last week. been doing routine drills on tuesday night, the wife and mine work schedules are very hetic now doesn't give us much time to spend at the fire hall. once winter gets here we should start slowing down and spend more time at the hall. Glad to here things are good for you. Be safe and God Bless
Sorry I suck at keeping up to date with this site. Nothing right now, Truckee has been hiring from our Part-time ranks for years now since they all come in with quals similar to what we would get if we tested from the outside....will probably change in the near future though. North Tahoe just hired not too long ago, so nothing there either. Most departments around here are facing budget problems as is everywhere else. Thanks for asking, drop in and say hello if you are ever back in Tahoe. Be Safe.
