Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the fire department because i grew up around it. When my dad left the fire service he was a captain and when my grandpa retired he was Asst. Chief. So i guess you could say firefighting is in my blood and i am proud to call myself a 3rd generation firefighter

    Jessi, Sounds like you have a good family tradition going. Keep at it. You are young, enjoy it. Go to the job, mouth shut, eyes and ears open, read, drill and learn the job. You will get experience as time goes by. When you are old, like 28 or 29 you can tell them what you think. Remember two hands two tools, be safe.
