    HI Jessica, sorry for the late reply.. I dont check this site as much these days, plus I have been abit busy training fire personnel and going to fires to.
    If your wanting to join up over here there is a process, but there is also a firefighter exchange program in place also. visit the website www.fire.qld.gov.au
    (this website should give you alot of information on how to become a firie in Queensland). WE have several female fulltime (what we call career firefighters), there are also auxillary firefighters (kinda like part time) and rural firefighters (volunteer).Even though it is primarily male dominated there are several excellent female firefighters around.
