Sorry for the multiple replies, each attempt at leaving a message it said that you were moderating your account (or something like that) and I thought my replies were not being sent to you, thus my multiple attempts at thanking you for welcoming me.
Hi Sarah. Thanks for the greeting and I will try to get involved in the site as we go. I will be gone most of the next couple of month teaching firearms for the State Patrol for our yearly inservice training. More later.

Hi, and thank You for inviting me. i was an active firefighter in Bucyrus Ohio until I retired in Dec of 2008 after 25 years as a POC. Prior to that I had been on several departments dating back to 1958 in Cumberland Rhode Island. I photograph fire aparartus, belong to SPAAMFAA and 2 antique fire apparatur groups. Currently a member of Box 15 of Columbus, Ohio. We do the canteen work for Columbus Fire, and some surrounding communities. How about you??? Greg
Hi Sarah - I am excited to check out the site. I have been to a few departments in Ohio - Akron and Solon, don't know where that is in relation to you. Thanks for the invite.
Hello Sarah. I have not been on in quite a while. My brother-in-law has brain cancer, and I have not been talking to any of my friends for a while. He is a ex-chief in the Garfield NJ Fire Dept. I have retired after 31 years in the Dept, and will now address my friends. It is just a matter of time before GOD takes him now.
I just joined this site, I'm a former firefighter as I am currently a truck driver even though I do local hauling and I am home every night I found working to purchase a house and the maintenance of the house to preclude me from being an active firefighter. My problems were really compounded when while working a local lying detective accused me of the profanity and conduct of another person while dealing with an accident scene I was a witness of. While I have the utmost respect for the honest hardworking police officers and their superiors, the liars should be exposed and removed. The cost to me for the lies of the detective were huge.
My name is Adel and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern algerinne University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at adel_pomper@hotmail.com or leave me a commentDelete Comment

Hi Sarah, I haven't written since I joined FFn. Hope things are well with you in OH. We've been swimming recently in Bryant. We only got 6.3 inches in 24 hours. Our streets and neighborhoods have been flooding very easily recently. Stay safe , God Bless
Thank you indeed, and it was a quiet night. Just getting into the FFN page, but have been with the department for almost 12 years now. This seems like it will be fun. Have a great day, and "keep it in the house."
HOPE ALL IS WELL, IM HOLDIN DOWN THE AMBULANCE AGAIN TODAY, LAST DAY OF THE ROTATION; WHOOO HOOOO!!! 4 DAY BREAK HERE I COME I WILL BE SPENDING IT AT THE FIRE STATION TRAINING AND DOING PAPERWORK, SOME BODY HAS TO DO IT.
