    I am currently a 31-B military police. how had would it be for me to reclass over to firfighter? I also heard there was a 4 yr waiting period for that job.

    I actually attended the National Advanced Leadership Course (NALC) in North Fort while in ROTC (Univ. of Tampa). I think they call it 'LDAC' now (?). That was JUN-JUL 2002. It's basically our final exam for ROTC as far as practical leadership application (running battle drills, assuming garrison leadership positions up to CO, etc.) Pretty good time...

    Well it's 0315 Friday Feb 1...I just arrived at the hotel in Yakima (wonderful trip w/Snoqualmie Pass closed). I get to start my new job w/the Yakima Training Center Fire Department on Monday. Good luck to everyone

    I was a Army firefighter back in the late 1970's my friend took orders from up at FT. Wainwright AK. to Yakima Proving grounds. Ever hear of a guy named Lary Trigger? I don''t know if he stayed there as a civilian or went home to MD after his nlistment was up.
