Hi Dale! You are right, plenty of others have done the same...I just remember thinking all the way through class, no way in hell I could do this...then it was no way in hell I could be an EMT, no way in hell i'd be a medic...and gee, look at me now, lol!
    Now? I can't imagine not doing it:^)

Morning Dale, Calcutta is located on the Ohio, Pa, West Virginia borders just outside of East Liverpool. We are one of those departments that have to train for a little of everything.

  • Zanne Bigley

Okay Dale. Now this is a longshot..... It is about a serial arsonist. More than that I hold pretty close to the vest.

    Thanks for the question.
  • Steve Davis

    Hey Dale,

Great to hear from you...I spent a few years at 10, great place to work! Zimm is still there, it would be extremely foolish to take his rescue mind out of the special ops group, although they have tried to do it. George is retired. He left the department about 2 years ago.
When was the last time you rode there?
  • David "Gunner" Wiles

Hey Dale good to hear from you.

Hey Dale Great to hear from you and that all is well.
  • Angela

hey thanks , where were the bronze firefighter statue pictures taken?
  • Chad Angle

Thanks, we won't know how to act with all the space. You are aware you have been teaching me in fire class as well :) correct ?
  • Chad Angle

You are a good instructor, easy to follow and I can tell your main concern is student learning, I don't think that is the case with all instructors. I appreciate your time, and your long experience in the fire service, hopefully I can have even half of the experience you have. I actually filled out an App. for Brookville last year, visited your station downtown. My day job is in Clayton so I am in Brookville several times a week.
  • G.T. Achor

Good to know you are still involved in the fire service.
  • Jeff Martin

    Dale,
Yes we do still have the flags on the hydrants. I will see if I can take some pictures and email them to you.
  • Jeff Martin

I haven't forgot about you. I am waiting to get my camera back from the shop. I had a problem with the onboard processor. I hope to have it back soon.
  • Jessie Miller

    Nice to meet you, Dale!
  • Mike Benadum

Dale, sorry it has taken so long to respond. I got my IFSAC certification as a FF II by filing an application with the Ohio Fire Academy. I fell into the grandfather time frame and I have my Firemedic Journeyperson card from my full-time employer (Toledo Fire).
  • Mike Benadum

    Dale,
I don't remembre off hand. I believe it was listed on the application. I will try to find out for you and get back to ya.
    Be Safe Brother.
  • curedgirls
