I believe that every day that we live is a gift from god and the more good that we do in this world the more time god gives us.

In the Texas Panhandle MANPOWER no one wants to volunteer anymore and If they do they dont want to train or show up they just want to wear the pager and get all the credit

    yeah I havent had one like that yet. I hope not too. Although if it happens it happens, thats part of the job. So far i have been lucky and the worst i have had to deal with as far as combine accidents go is we had to first respond to a guy that sustained a head injury when he fell off of his combine. It was already parked so there wasnt really any risk of him getting run over by it.

    wow yeah that would suck. its kinda surreal when stuff happens and it turns out its someone you know. my first ever run where i used my emt-b skill was a drunk driving accident that involved 4 guys i know quit well and am good friends with.

    alright bro! sounds awesome, im actually working with a friend of mine whos with the HFD Station 10 about doing a ride along for me, see if i can get a chance to experience how the whole thing works, and what its like, i was at his station before, and when i was there, the team was working on jacking a car off of a trailer, that was awesome, and a good learning experience too!
