WELCOME TO THE FFN FROM OHIO BE SAFE OUT THERE

I would like to see the community be more proactive in fire prevention. Everybody wants the infomation, will thank you for it, but then they fail to put it into practice. If the people in our community would practice just a few of the things we teach, it would make a tremendous difference. I would also like to see more community support and appreciation of our firefighters. For instance, it would be great just once to have a full roster on our volunteer squad. This is hard to do when businesses and the public do not support the volunteer effort. Just a note, by starting in the schools, you are making a big impact. We may not be able to change old ideas, but we can plant new philosophies in the minds of our youth.

I WOULD LIKE THE COMMUNITY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT AND WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO AND TO THINK ABOUT FIRE SAFETY THROUGH OUT THE YEAR AND JUST NOT AT FIRE PREVENTION WEEK.
