No problems,I cant catch up with the right people for about a week, but I will see a mate who is a cfa training officer and i will see what contact details he can give me and any other info that I can get. I live only five hours from there and i have some friends only about an hour and a half from there. Its not as bad as it sounds-the distance i mean. If you would like keep in touch between now and then in case there is anything that i can help you with feel free to email me.

the training officer has been out of the office every time ive tried to catch up with him but the information that ive been able to get for you so far (just so that you didnt think that i had forgeotten you) is as follows---ive been told that you would have to do your basic training just like every other volunteer which covers map reading ,using the radio, how to connect hoses to the pump, personal proctive clothing and its use-so nothing over the top just some basic training that doesnt take all that long really not taking into account your previous training. The macedon fire station can be found at 362 mt. macedon road mt. macedon. Tha contact phone number when you get out to australia is 03 54261209. Our state of victoria is broken up into regions and mt. macedon is in region 14,im still trying to get a contact email adress for you. I hope that this helps a little bit
