im 21 years old, i wanted to fight fires after i watched a friend of mines house burn down to the foundation and my grandfather put it out. he was in the fire service for almost 40 years. i enjoy helping people.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
my grandfather did it for nearly 40 years i lived chasing the engine ever since i got my first ride got hooked as a kid.

hey man sorry it took so long to comment back...we have 2 tankers we run with over 1,500g. but both our engines also are able to carry over 1,500g. I found the firefighter song on somebodys profile on here lol i dont remember whos...Stay safe
we are having them also. had two last week. one was a four department fire with DNR called to respond also. We didnt get the snow in march that we normally get, so things are really, really dry. There has been about 2 grass fires a day in the last 2.5 weeks within 20 miles of Spring Grove... Other than those, been real slow...
