Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Even as a kid I loved the flashing lights, sound of sirens and the adrenalin rush of an emergency. I also get a great sense of worth when I can make a difference in someone's life for the good. There is a sense of gratitude for your life when you can make someone else's better. I love EMS and always will!!
Why I Love Fire/EMS: It gives me great self-worth to help others in their time of need.

DANIEL ROBERT GARVIN ITS SNOWING!!!! They're predicting 6-10 inches. So if we're lucky we'll get 6 if its like normal haha. They've already closed schools for tomorrow. I'm on spring break this week for some stupid reason so I was already off.
Yeah its wierd. I mean you can tell he's gay just by the way he acts and talks and stuff, but he likes peyton...so I dunno.

Yes I was very happy! We got about 8 inches. I was supposed to work today but we were closed. So Peyton and another friend Ed and her boyfriend Chris (who is also one of my exs) came over and went sledding.
We've considered that he might be bi, but it seems like if he was he would like more than one girl. He's not attracted to any girls except her, but he walks through the mall and points at guys he finds attractive...
I'll be relaxing tomorrow and wednesday, but I have to work thursday night and most of the day and night friday and saturday. I hope you have fun doing the bedroom :)

yeah, 8 inches and the schools closed monday and are still closed tomorrow haha.
Well thats an interesting story...he was my second boyfriend. He asked me out and I went because I hadn't gotten over my first and I thought maybe if I went out with him he would help me get over the first one. Well it didn't work, but I didn't want to hurt him so I went out with him for 6 weeks. Then I finally got the nerve to breakup with him and he did not take it well and was saying he was going to kill himself and stuff, then 6 days later he asked Ed out, who was my other best friend (besides peyton) at the time. So for a couple weeks we all hung out, then one night something happened and he cussed me out, so I wrote this really long blog on myspace complaining about him (I would like to hope that we've all matured since this happened haha) so he read it and apologized and we said we would be friends, but then he stopped letting ed hang out with us. anytime she talked to us or hung out with us he got mad at her. So me and peyton protested for a while, but finally we just bascially gave up on the friendship and really resented him for taking her away. But then a while back we started hanging out occasionally, and he didn't talk to us and we didn't talk to him, but Ed wouldn't hang out without him. Then on New Years we had a party and I brought pizza and he asked me to bring him some cheesesticks or something. So him and Ed said they would pay me back by taking me out to eat. So the next weekend they picked me up after work and we went to a pizza place, then to the mall and walmart, and it was fun. So a few days later I got a phone call from his phone but I just figured it was Ed. When I answered it was him, and he apologized several times for everything that had happened back then, so I apologized for everything that I did. So we're friends now I guess. We still don't really talk a lot, but its friendly. Him and Ed are engaged now too.
Wow...have fun doing all that in a week. I think it would be easier just to build a new house haha

All the snow is gone. Its been 80 the past 3 days.
I was the first girlfriend he'd had since he was like 14 I think...so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
I have a date tonight :) Its a guy I met at lifeway. He's 27 which is kinda old for me I guess, but mom thinks its good cause she says I'm too mature for people my age, and it doesn't bother me. He's the first guy that I've dated that openly talks about God, the others avoided the topic, so I like that. Plus he's tall :)

Its -27 and windy...... Im on days off and taking it easy, you should get the patches within the week. Those patches are going to be no more since the province is taking over EMS April first. There one of the nicer ones I've seen!

Daniel, yes I just got it about an hour ago. I have been gone out of the office for 10 days. So when I came in this morning I was pleasantly surprised to get the package. Its been cold here the past few days, its warm today but its supposed to get cold again tomorrow but my teacher just said the weekends supposed to be nice.
The date went very good. I met him at his house and we played video games, then we went to an Italian restaurant, and then back to his house and watched some movies. I've been to his house a couple times since just to hang out but they wern't really dates. Then this past Friday we went out again. We ate at Applebees and then met my friends at walmart so they could meet him. They approved. We got kicked out of walmart cause there was apparently a bomb threat. Then we went to Camerons house until they had to be home and I went back to his house for a little bit. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet, but he told me the night of the first date that he thought this might be going somewhere, so we'll see :)

he has paid both times we went out. I offered to pay for mine but he screamed that it was a date and he was paying. I like pretty much any kind of movies that arent bloody. Like i cant stand the saw movies but stuff thats scary but not bloody are fine. My favorite is like romantic comedies or firefighting movies. He likes chickflicks which is awesome cause most guys think watching them makes them less manly or something. Im on the way to near washington dc to look at a university with peyton and abby and peytons mom. It was supposed to be raining but its like lovely and sunny.

Spent a few nice weeks in Nova Scotia when I was in the US Navy. Would love to get back up there someday. Learned that Labatts blue is a awesome beer, and I learned to drive aircraft tow tractors in the snow. Stay safe, headed into work for a long night shift at my paid job

Let me know if there is a interest in any more patches from sunny Fla. Working the 6p-6a tonight & tomm, hard to get hurt at work. Too many safeguard = not alot of excitement, but I am not complaining. Will get my fill of the fire truck Monday & Tuesday nights. Stay safe up there

Most of the work we do is light weight. It's so overcompicated towards safety. If it did nto pay as well as it does I would have taken a job turning wrenches on aircraft. I'll work on tracking down some additional station patches. Also have some patches from the days in the navy. Headed back into work for day/night #4. Take it easy up there
