    Hi Rodolfa;

    I see in your picture that you are standing with a golden Retriever. Is he your Search and Rescue Partner. I have a Golden as well, I am a founding member of teh Long Island Search and Rescue group here in New York. Myt Golden, "Rusty Boy" was doing really great until he began to have som e rear leg/hip issues so I stopped working him. He was training as an air senter for Wilderness SAR missions. I miss it a lot, him beign a male and the only dog inthe house, he won't let another dog into his castle. I am hoping to get a new dog some day soon. Here in New York is has been slow in the fire side of things and the winter has finally showed up. It is in the teens with high winds makes it feel close to 0. Hope you are doing well, be safe and remember we all come home.

    Hi Shawn, I feel very upset by what happened to your dog, I hope that very prompt you will find other one. In the case of my dog, yes is a Golden Retriever named DUNCAN and is a Hero in rescue, he had a good interventions in our last August 2007 earthquake and also in the last emergency, that he was to rescued 3 construction workers trapped in a precipice of a building. Is the dog of the K-9 Rescue Team of 3 more from our Fire Dept. I hope you stay well and be safe.
