My name is David Schneider, and currently live in Bobcaygeon, ON. Thanks to my parents being Americans I am able to join and fight with FDNY... My childhood dream come true. I play competetive baseball and currently awaiting my second MLB camp this summer.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I lost my uncle during 9/11 and ever since then it's been a dream of mine to serve in alongside my brothers who fight with the worlds best, FDNY.

    From what I understand they are pretty much the same except the sam houston has the skull cap which makes it osha compliant but I think even the new new yorkers are supposed to have them. Also I think the new yorker stands a little higher than the sam houston.

    Been good. Hows the FDNY thing going. Can't wait to hear the stories. I have had several working fires this summer pulled one of my buddies out of a burning porch he fell through on one of them. He got a little burnt but not to bad.
