Why I Joined Fire/EMS
i want to help people, and save lives to the best extent there is, plus i have major adrenelene rushes and feel that i need to be there to help when i hear either a cop, amublance, and/or fire sirens!!

    Hey girl! First question, are you a member of a FD? If so, you should most definetly go thru the fire dept. The fire dept should cover the cost of the classes, and once your out of school, you will have more time to focus on those classes. How long until you are out of school? If you really want to do it now, then by all means take it thru school, but I have to say it was much more beneficial doing it thru the station. And yes, I was out of school when I started. You need to be a member of a station in order to actively ride as a FF/EMT.
    Its definetly a fun time! DO IT!

    my first call of the year and the departments first call of the year was an ems for cardiac arrest didn't make it, we have had a couple of fires already, so yea i have been on some big calls

    Thanks for the comment on the TFFT video. They are cool to look at, but they really are not that good around city areas. They are for combat areas that are wide open. Plus they don't meet all the NFPA requierments..But they are fun to play around with :)
